Conquistar, a member of the Intergracao Group, has been awarded the prize for the most significant single sale by Catalyst Global. The award ceremony took place at the recent Catalyst America Zone meeting in Mexico. Catalyst Global is the world’s largest network of corporate team building companies with 54 licensees worldwide. Conquistar holds the exclusive Catalyst license for Brazil.
The award acknowledges the sale of tablet-based training game, Go Team, to a Brazilian telephone company. The company were looking to implement commercial strategies that would increase sales. To achieve this, they needed to train their 6,000 plus salesforce who are located across Brazil’s major centres. Conquistar customised Catalyst Global’s Go Team app to match the client’s desire. In Go Team, teams have to face several challenges triggered by GPS outdoors or QR code indoors. It consists of a series of challenges which lead to an overall end goal. Conquistar’s customised Go Team training was implemented seamlessly across all 35 teams throughout the country with amazing results.
On receiving the award, Luis Zanin, Head of Conquistar said, "Receiving this award was very significant to us. The implementation of this project was very challenging because of the huge number of collaborators, and we had a short time to reach them all. The entire Conquistar team was available to serve the client for 40 days. There were times when we had four active training groups, one in every corner of the country,"
The training took place in 16 capitals - Aracaju, Belem, Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Campo Grande, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Goiania, Manaus, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Sao Luis, Sao Paulo and Vitoria. "The company's goal was to provide its sales teams with a tool that could stimulate them to meet their year-end sales goals," says Daniela Serban, an executive at Integration's sales department, responsible for negotiating with the client. "Go Team was fully customized to the client's strategy and according to the employee profile," says Daniela.
Go Team allows updates and the sharing of comments and scores in real-time, as well as receiving and sending multimedia content. "The whole narrative can be customized, and the game can be adapted for competitive or collaborative activity, according to the purpose of the training," says Luis. "Go Team activities apply to any number of participants. It is possible to organize the game to last an hour, an afternoon or even a whole week, with clues being available at certain times of each day", he adds. The great advantage that helped to close Go Team for this project, is its ability to report on multiple teams’ performance, providing information that will support subsequent actions.
“We at Catalyst Global were most impressed with Conquistar’s efforts to utilise the full potential of the Go Team application as a training tool. The customisation was well thought out and enabled the client to meet their end goal of significantly increasing sales through cohesive staff training,” said Guy Baker, CEO Catalyst Global. “We want to award network partners who uphold the Catalyst ethos of excellence. And, with special focus on getting the desired outcome for clients.”
